DYNES James Sydney (Jim) – Fought to the end, surrounded by his angels, on Monday, 16 September 2024, aged 76 years. Hard working Dad and father-in-law of Debra and Paul McKenzie, Peter and Teresa, Shona and Bruce Robertson, estranged husband and friend of Anita, Grandad to Zach, and Connor; Ronan, Stella, and Kane; Sydney and Tait. Loved and respected brother, brother-in-law, and Uncle.

A service to celebrate Jim’s life will be held in the West Otago Community Centre, Tapanui, on Saturday, 21 September, at 1.00pm, private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left for West Otago St John Ambulance, Tapanui. Much respect and condolences to the Dynes family. Jim Dynes was a great respected genuine man who was one of the boy's at work and always had time for a yarn and had smoko with the boys. It was an honour to of known you and worked for you under the Dynes Transport umbrella for 6 and a half years. You will never be forgotten
